Team Evaluation and Personal Reflection

Reflection has been defined as the active process of reviewing, analysing and evaluating experiences, drawing upon theoretical concepts or previous learning, in order to inform future actions (Reid 1993). In this trend book project that has been running for almost 3 month there are several process that I personally been trough with all my group member. The first process is starting by discussing about brand new independent agency store that are going to be run by ourselves in London. Followed with the discussion on selected brand, market, product and customer. Not forgetting the Macro trends that includes the color, textile, pattern, design details,, and silhouettes. Every discussion and meeting that we had is to find a final decision for every part that has to be done in order to finished the whole trend book together.

In addition, I have improved my numerical skills, analytical techniques, and design through analyzing statistics to get valid changes in trends from time to time using graphs, table, and charts.

In the midst of my Leader position in this group assignments I have managed distinctive errands, endeavors and practices and expect me to think critically and rationally. Constant basic reasoning and reflection can close the hole among hypothesis and practice, improve nature of individual and expert advancement (Argyris and Schön, 1978; Schon, 1983; Schon, 1987; Boud and Walker, 1998; Epstein and Hundert, 2002)

What's more, I have progressively smart identity in the internal activities on how functioning with various multi-cultural group of individuals. Truly, working with a multi-cultural group of individuals are difficult as we as a whole have distinctive thoughts and data however at last we there is just a single ultimate choice. So, if I have the chance to do this assignment again I would be start doing to get to know my group member as we might have different personality and ideas before we come up into final decision, especially for the design part as everyone has different taste of fashion.
